WELCOME TO OVERSEAS PLACEMENT CELL
Overseas placement cell is the result of several years of research into how to move successfully at a low cost for a job or education overseas to avail the best opportunities. Given the problems existing in the countries where Indians traditionally moved to, we relooked at this question, “Which are the best countries to move to for the best life opportunities and living standards? The answer that we came up with are countries that are growing fast and are resource-rich, that do not have security issues and have good public infrastructure. The Visa/ Resident permit requirements should not be very stringent for Indians.
Since these countries are not the traditional countries that people move to, we had to develop a database of job opportunities and universities and build contacts in such countries. We are continuously updating this base further. Our view is supported by the simple risk-reward ratio, which in recent times is getting more skewed towards our target countries. The risks of moving to such countries in terms of expenses are considerably lower and within reach of the Indian middle class, while the rewards are good; Jobs and good education are easily available.
